Tours from Katherine

My family (self, spouse and 2 teens) will be visiting the Katherine area for a few days in early August. I have read about renting canoes and canoeing in the Roper River at Elsey National Park and a nightiime crocodile spotting/BBQ dinner tour. Has anyone done either of these activities and what were your impressions? (BTW, we have previously canoed in Katherine Gorge, so we are looking for other options.) Many thanks.
