Barb:
My family and I stayed at Tokoriki in March 2000 and loved it. That was 2 months before the coup but I would think it's still fine. Try to get one of the air-conditioned bungalows if possible. IF you have specific questions, let me know.
Thanks for the response Mike. We're looking forward to this trip so much. We actually staying at Matagi Island Resort for 5 days before we head down to Tokoriki. We're told that these two islands are teh best of both worlds - Matagi for the snorkeling & Tokoriki for the beaches. Do you happen to know if the Deluxe Ocean Bures have a/c. I'm hoping you can elaborate a bit on the food and resort itself. Also, how easy is it to island hop for a day. Any comments would be much appreciated.

Barb,
Hope you are still reading this board and will post a travel report upon your return. We are interested in both of these resorts (Tokoriki and Matangi) and would love to know how your trip went, if connections were easy, if the trip north was worth it, highlights, etc. Thanks!
