Tasmania Itinerary for a fly fisherman

Jump to last reply

We are planning a 3-4 week trip to AU in March 2016. We have family in Adelaide and will be spending time with them and going up to Alice Springs and Uluru. We want to include Tasmania on this trip and would like some direction on our itinerary and fly fishing is a must for my husband. We'd most likely fly LAX to Melbourne and spend a couple of days then on to Tasmania . In reading other threads starting in Hobart and ending in Launceston would give us plenty of sight seeing opportunities. This way my husband could have a couple of different fishing experiences. I'm exploring guides and there seem to be a few. Any suggestions will be appreciated. This is our 4th trip to Australia. We've been to Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, KI, and spent a month in NZ. This forum has been a huge help in planning our trips. Thanks in advance.
