Looking for advice on 2oth Anniversary trip for April
Tahiti, Bora Bora or Cooks Islands or Fiji or even Sydney? We just want no rain and would like not freezing temps. I am also open to all suggestions. I was also looking at Crete but it seems that most resorts are closed the beginning of April. Our vacation conflicts with Easter so I am looking for a location that will not be crazy due to the holiday.
We have about 10 days total.

In Sydney it certainly would still be warm in April as it is early Autumn.

Over the years I have been to all of these, however, it has been a while since I was at the Cooks.

Bora Bora is BY FAR going to be the most expensive, so you can expect the least amount of crowds at that time of year, this is best place to frolic in the water. Tahiti, has black volcanic sand beaches and is where you go if you want to do things on land. There is not a huge amount to do there though.

Fiji is the most family friendly so there will be a multitude of families on the flights over and at the resorts. If you are not looking to be surrounded by kids at the pool, I suggest looking for one of the islands that has positioned itself as more for couples.

Cook Islands are a funny little place. It is quote small, you can cycle around it in a matter of hours. It is good for diving and some places have great beaches, other have rocky beaches and rely on the pool. It is a nice place to relax but it probably has the least amount of services outside the of the resorts.

Thank you. It does not sound like we would be thrilled with Fiji and I have heard that Bora Bora is very expensive also I have been looking at the hotels. We already have flights booked with miles but they can be switched. We grabbed them when they went on sale. I just do not want to wind up in rainy season. I know there are a ton of other islands around Tahiti you just do not hear a ton about them. We tend to hear about Bora Bora and Morrea. We are also open to Italy again which we love I just know it will be much cooler that time of year.
