Impressive as always. We watched it live streaming at 9 pm here in Perth, then went to bed!

Yep, pretty impressive. They cost a lot but it pays off with tourism. I used to go and watch them with the throngs but can't cope now and watch them on tele with a nice glass of red ( or two ! ).

Peteralan, a few years ago we lucky enough to see the fireworks from a high rise apartment in kirribilli. It was fantastic but one of the best parts was that by looking over the balcony we could see when the throngs had thinned out and just strolled up to Milsons Point station and hopped on a train.

I'm with you about the crowds.

Melbournes were fab -one section going fronm the top of 15 city buildings along the river
