Sydney CBC Serviced Apartment

We have just enjoyed a 4 night stay in Sydney - mainly to see the lights of the Vivid Festival.

Our accommodation in the centre of the city was ideal, at Meriton Serviced Apartments 329 Pitt Street Sydney. We had a one bedroom located on a corner of the building, so had plenty of windows for light. The apartment had everything you could want: laundry with washer & dryer, kitchen with full oven, stove-top, fridge, microwave & dishwasher. The bed was a very comfortable king size, and the bathroom a walk-in shower (no bath).

The building is very secure and has 24 hour reception desk. For people like us who want to be able to prepare our own meals, there is a large Woolworths supermarket in the same block, trains and buses are a short walk, as well as major shops. If you prefer to dine out, there is a myriad of choices within easy walking from the apartments.

And the Vivid light displays were pretty good too! Di

Thanks Di,
Good to hear you had a good stay. Our self catering apartments are ideal for stays of more than a night.

Hi.. as I understand it, trips to Australia can be expensive.. did you happen to know more about discounts and promos such as what's posted in http://www.cruisesalefinder.com.au/a...ey-cruise-sale website? Appreciate all the help, thanks.

Sounds wonderful. We are in the same building for five nights in October and it's great to have a recent testimonial. The tip about the Woolworth's is especially helpful. Thanks.

jeep - we requested an apartment with a walk-in shower (rather than one over the bath), and ended up with a lovely position on the corner of the building - with plenty of light and interesting street views.

We plan to go back some time soon, to see the new Barangaroo Park and walk the new 'Goods Line' from Central to Darling Harbour. Di
