Review Le Meridien Bora Bora Water Bungalows after renovation 1/21/11

I just found out that the hotel is closed for renovation until January 21 2011. I just wanted to let people know before the usa winter begins.
I have read in older posts that it really needed to be updated.
Two of us are planning to go there May 2012..
We are interested in staying at one of the over water bungalows with the glass floor for 3 to 4 days.
Please review after visiting when the place reopens for business.
