My husband and I are doing an RCI Timeshare for a week at the Bali Hai Club. We'd like to get an extra week on the islands, preferably on Bora Bora. The only way we could manage that is by finding the least expensive accomodations around. I've seen the Bora Bora Motel mentioned on a few websites and message boards but no one mentions any specific rates. It may be a far cry from staying at a luxury resort, but at least I'd get to spend a whole week at the one island I'd most like to stay on in the South Pacific!
If anyone has any info. or suggestions, please let me know.

You can find some hotel listings and prices at www.tahiti-nui.com. I am sure there are other sites with prices if you just search around.
We stayed at Bora Bora Motel. It was very difficult to make reservations. We faxed and faxed and faxed and mailed letters. We had reservations for their best room 17,000 CFP per night. The night before we were to arrive, they informed us that a storm had blown our room away and they had a regular room. Sorry, I forget the rate (I still have receipt but we are moving and is packed - will be until September). Location is outstanding. Hotel has no AC and is very basic. The people were very nice but motel is like somebody built a few rooms beside the road. The location is between wonderful hotels. Sorry I cannot tell you final price but it was approx. 1/2 to 2/3 of the room that blew away. Good luck.
June, we stayed at the Beach Club Bora Bora with a bungalow right on the beach. The accommodation was simple but adequate. It is right next to the Sofitel, so we made use of some of the facilities there. Visit my photo album of the timeshare on Moorea and the beach outside our room on Bora Bora.http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=203732&a=1767095
have a wonderful holiday, Peg.
