Hi to all,
I am planning a trip to Rarotonga and next september.
Please let me know what you think of the Muri Beach Club compared to the Moana Sands beachfront hotel( which came highly reccomended to me?
Also is 2-3 days enough there?
Thank You.

Not been inside either, but Muri Beach Club probably has nicer units and is in a more lively and more scenic area.
The snorkeling will be better at Moana Sands though.
Is 2-3 days enough? Not really, but if that's all you've got, that's all you've got.

Thank you Ken for your reply with your good information. I will plan now to to stay for 4-5 days now instead of 2- 3 days.

Hello Kappy:
My wife and I stayed several days [no longer remember exactly] on our first stop in Rarotonga.
Our second stop was for two weeks as we enjoyed our first one so much.
Two weeks was bit much for the wife but not for me.
To each his own. I would go back at the drop of a hat. Depends on what you like and expect.

We have been to Rarotonga several times and like the Muri Beach area, since the beach is fantastic on that side of the island. The views and accessibility to two offshore islands is great. You can even walk to the offshore islands during low tide. There are also several restaurants within walking distance there.
You might also allow enough time for a day trip to Autitaki - which is absolutely gorgeous and has fantastic snorkeling.
Hi Sandy,
Thank you for your great suggestions.
