Queenstown to Christchurch - Car Hire (P plates)
Hey all,
Mid October my girlfriend and I are going to Queenstown and driving to Christchurch.
I'm on my Victorian Red P's. The only company I've been able to find so far to hire to Red P's is Wicked. I kind of want to have Wicked as a last resort, as their fees make the trip very expensive.
Does anyone know of any other companies that would offer this service? Any private alternatives?
Thanks!
-Sean

I don't know if any but thought it worthwhile to link this recent thread.

I do think it will be expensive for you to hire a car while still on your P's.

P plates are the first stage in a Driver's Provisional Licence.

Sorry, I don't have any inspiration for you, Sean, but good luck.
If you so go with Wicked. Just make sure you read their terms & conditions thoroughly AND take photos & check out the vehicle very thoroughly before you sign off & take delivery of it.
I'd say the same about any rental firm, but Wkcked have a particularly bad reputation. That said, I've seen a couple on the road in my Sydney area recently that seemed quite ok.
