Perth: a few night hours layover. Where could we rest ?
Our intercont flight arrives at 01am in Perth and the domestic connection to Broome is at 10am. Where could we (family of 4) sleep close to the airport at a decent price ?

There are a few inexpensive accommodation options in Belmont, which is very close to both Perth airport terminals.
We've stayed at this one a few times...it's not posh, the location is a bit noisy, but it's clean and convenient, and when we last stayed there, their reception desk was open 24/7 and they offered free shuttles to/from the airport. Before I moved to Perth I searched high and low to find a hotel here that offered 24 hour reception and free airport pick up and drop off, so I know firsthand that places like this are scarce:

There are a few other options on Great Eastern Highway that might work, but I'm not aware of any of them offering 24 reception or a free airport shuttle.
If you want something more upmarket and closer to the CBD, you have more options. There's an airport shuttle that offers airport transport for about $25 per person return, but I don't know their operating hours, and with four people, it could add up:

great !! thanks
Yes we just need to rest for a few hours after the long flight from EU. We have already visited Perth years ago so this time an inexpensive solution close to the airport will be our choice !

thanks Smorgan
We are alrwady back home from the trip. Thanks anyway for your suggestions.
At the end we stayed inside the airport overnight like other travellers. Kids slept somehow and free internet positions helped to reach the morning lights !
