Going to NZ for 3 weeks in Feb 2013. Which is the best way to get a phone in New Zealand ? Take my phone and buy a SIM card - or - buy a prepaid phone in NZ ? Any tips on where to buy the phone. If SIM card is best does anyone know the size needed.

correction above...I meant: Where to BUY a prepaid phone in NZ
When you land in AKL there is a vodafone store in the lobby of the arrivals hall just outside of customs on the right hand side. You can purchase a sim card for a nominal fee, I think I paid $29NZ and it includes $10nz in prepaid usage. Register it online at http://www.vodafone.co.nz/plans/prepay/prepay-10-credit.jsp and you will get an additional $10nz bonus.
