Arrive at Christchurch....make sure you take the tram trip around chch....and then head off to the Banks Penisnsula ( spend at least 2 days ther)...enjoy urself
before u get back to Chch. Then take a day to drive to Kaikoura and do the whale watch ( something u will remember all your life)....on the way to Kaikoura stop at Hamner Srpings ( reminds u a lot of switzerland).............and weave your way back thru an alternative route via the coast............
Take the train "Trans Alpine" across to greymouth..............pick up a pre booked car ( drivinf in NZ is a peice of cake) and drive to the Punakaiki rocks.............abs' amazing geologial rock formations ever!!!! ( carry insect repellent with u....) ....drive down to shanty town ( abs' amazing stories of the 1st gold diggers) B 4 u arrive at FOX GLACIERS.......

make sure u do the helicopter rides to land on the glaciers............
then weave you r way thru to Wanaka.................abs' amazing.......spend 1- 2 days before u go to Queestown!!!! The BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD I HAVE BEEN TO SO FAR...
live either at the Rydges ( up market) or YHA ( cheap as) to experience the best views.........i have styed at both places..............so can recommend BOTH...........
Make sure u go to Glenorchy ( were Lord of the Rings was shot) by bus or on a trip.........
then take a trip (if u hve the time) to BOTH milford Sounds and Doubtful Sounds.............takes about 4 days................but u will be happy with both trips........believ me........as they are breathtakingly beatiful......................
before u get back to Queenstown! make SURE u go to to ARROWTOWN as well as the gondola up to the restaurant............( i have done it 3 times............but i still find it so ROMANTIK) ...if ur BOLD ..........do a paraglide from the top of the mountain....amazinf views............

Would STRONGLY recommend u to do either the Shotover Jet ( if u have a strong heart) or the the Kawarau jet ( weak heart) to experienc eluvly queenstown................ad if u luv wild sports ( like my son) u wud try the Sky dive n Bungy jump @ the Kawarau river.....( my son @ 11 yrs said tht it was the best thing ever)........Queenstown is Just AMAZING!!!! yet to find a place n the world that can offer as MUCh as Queenstown has to offer........
Travel to Doubtful sounds,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

another great /uforgetabble memory in ur life.................better than Switzerland ( i fi can compare)...............
Come then to Dunedin.............( kinda reminds u of Scotland).............if im rite..........is a beautiful place......................
And..............on the way...............tke a detour.......to MT COOK..........( if u r a romantik......u won't regret it) ...........................
