No, I haven't, but please be aware that there's really no need for a guide on the Queen Charlotte Track. It's easy to access on your own (or via water taxi), there's a wide variety of accommodation along the track and the track is easy to follow.

If you are doing this track in the summer month, I would not take the risk for freedom walking it. This track is extremely popular and you don;t want to run the risk that accommodation is fully booked. The company that you are considering is a good reputable company to do it with. They are Qualmark endorsed which in NZ is a sign of Quality. They will have met strict standards to obtain this. They have a guided and freedom walking option, so at least you know you are able to sleep and all your transfers to the start and finsh of the track are sorted. Other option could be a seakaying trip.

This card will also set you up with your local simcard, itnernet access and they run a competiton to win your airfare back.Have a look at this website as well to do more homework on the Queen Charlotte track.http://www.qctrack.co.nz/. Have fun in New Zealand

NZHC's main purpose in posting seems to be to plug his or her company, New Zealand Holiday Card.

Bay of Many Coves is very nice, but pricy. From the resort you can take a water taxi to Ship Cove then walk the track to Furneaux Lodge, where you can be collected by water taxi for your return to BOMC. This is a 15 km walk though.

For everything you need to know about the track and accommodation, take a look here:
