I am looking for an exotic honeymoon location for late April/early May. I am looking into Tahiti and other Micronesian spots. Can anybody offer any good suggestions for a place which can offer a peaceful, beautiful romantic hideaway location. Thanks!

We are returning to the Society Islands for a month
starting this Christmas having honeymooned there almost
14 years ago. It can be done economically and there
are many hideaways. Look into Moorea and Hauhine.
That trip also took us to the Fiji islands which you
also may want to consider. Read about the Blue Lagoon
Cruise, a four night cuise through the outer islands
piloted by Fijians and some of the best snorkeling ever.
The Island of Tambaura (sp) is the ultimate hiding place
serving a fixed number of guests where everyone knows
your name as soon as you step off the launch to this
private island. Good luck
In Micronesia there is a wonderful little island called Kosrae. If you enjoy water sports such as scuba diving and/or snorkeling, go to Kosrae Village Resort and be treated like a king and queen. You could e-mail the owner there (names are Bruce and Katrina) for more information about the resort - address is: KosraeVillage@mail.fm
Kosrae is an intimate look at Micronesia and extremely non-commercial.
The bungalows at Kosrae Village Resort are simple and original, native design. The food is incredibly great and the staff are very, very attentive and good.
About 300 miles off the east coast of Australia is Lord Howe Island. It is accessible by East Australia Airlines from either Sydney or Brisbane. Lord Howe is a UN World Heritage Site and a wonderfully romantic place. There are few cars (a rental car is nearly impossible to get) and most travel the island by bicycle. The food and accomodations are wonferful. Activities include a small 9 hole golf course, diving, snorkeling in a wonderful coral lagoon, surfing and trekking. Accomodations are a little expensive but you can't go wrong here. Goodluck
