Help with hotel in Port Fairy and Apollo Bay

Can someone suggest a nice place to stay in Port Fairy and Apollo Bay.I'm talking preferably a hotel,though someone already mentioned the Beacon Point Lodge in Apollo Bay. I'm trying to figure out a place to stay for 2 days in each town so I can do side trips from there on a driving trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. Thanks.......
