French Polynesia vs. Fiji how long flight from USA?
Could someone tell me the flight time from LAX to Fiji vs. LAX to Tahiti?
Several years ago we went to FP and I think it was about an 9 hour flight form LAX. Just wondering if Fiji is that much further???

Thank you so much, JamesA, you sound like you know what your talking about. Do you go often (to both)? If so, do you have a airline preference? (my only experience has been on Air Tahiti Nui)
I remember when we went to Papette, when we purchased tickets they offered an upgrade to business for not a whole lot more. We loved it!! And, definitely thought it was worth the $$. Each seat had their own video, etc. which made the long flight nicer.
But, when I checked the other day, the first tickets were over $4000 each!! Are you aware of any "deals" for business?
