Message: hi there-
is anyone familar with nukubati resort?
it is part of the SLH chain and I got a great (i think) deal on 7 nights from luxurylink. we are going for our honeymoon in late june/july.
i was originally thinking of vatulele or qamea but my bid won on the auction.
would love any feedback.
also any thoughts on comparing vatulele, namale, and yasawa.

Can only comment on the Yasawa Resort. We were there 2 years ago for a week and enjoyed every minute. It is a beautiful intimate place with 16 bures (at that time) on the beach. Good accomodations with all the ammenities and a very good restaurant with excellent cuisine. Found the other guests to be very pleasant and enjoyed the evening pre dinner conversations in the lounge area. Wonderful friendly staff and gracious islanders all around. Heard some of the most beautiful local singing from the children and adults alike. A great beach area and lovelly hillsides for easy hiking as well as other activities available. Is definitely a place I would go back to in the future.
Nukubati is gorgeous - and in June/July it should be enjoying great weather as it's the dry season. Lucky you!!
Hi ebath,
I am just starting to plan my honeymoon in Fiji too. What is the SLH chain you're referring to. Also, what sites are you bidding on an auction? That's new to me, I'd love to hear how your experience planning is. Thanks!

Would just like to comment on Luxurylink. We recently completed a trip to the Amazon which we bid on. Everything worked out perfectly and I can recommend them. Their charge, if you get the bid, is $15.00.

SLH=small luxury hotels

luxurylink is a travel website that has only boutique/four star and up hotels.
Thanks ebath,
I'm hooked to the website luxurylink. I am interested in a package on there but they all seem to be through March 31, 2003 only. We too are traveling in July. How often do they post new trips?
Was your trip a buy as-is rate or did you actually bid on it?
Thanks. We're excited about finding something soon. We just booked our flights using miles.
