Extra time in Melbourne

i will have a few extra days in Melbourne after nearly a month with an About Australia tour of the country-including Tasmania. Any suggestions for days trips in the area? Also by the time I get back to Melbourne i will be in need of a good deep tissue massage-any recommendations there? i will head for OZ the middle of September by ship.

Take the ferry along the river to Williamstown. Visit the National Gallery in St Kilda Road and also the Australian art collection at the Ian Potter Gallery. Go to the Queen Victoria market for goodies to eat and gifts to take home. The Melbourne Zoo is excellent and has a walk-through area for Australian animals. Do a coach trip to the Yarra Valley for wineries and also visit Healesville Sanctuary to see our Australian wild life. Take a tram to St Kilda, particularly for the market on Sunday.

There are great things to do while you are in Melbourne. There are many interesting places to visit and best things to do in Melbourne. Take a ride to The Great Ocean Road, Shrine of Remembrance, memorial dedicated to all citizens who died in wars since the First World War, National Gallery of Victoria, Dandenong Ranges, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and many more while you are in the city.

If you will be in Melbourne in September and are into sports, it is AFL finals season and there should be some good footy games on.
