East Coast Car Rentals - Anyone used them?

We want to hire a car in Brisbane for a couple of weeks. East Coast are cheap, but from my research have a bad reputation according to other forums.

Any experiences with them? Thanks.

I have never heard of that company but I would suggest you try www.driveaway.com.au - I recently booked a car for our upcoming trip to Cairns - Driveaway came up with a deal through Thrifty car but going through driveaway was cheaper than going to Thrifty direct.

I have used Driveaway many times overseas and have found them to be very price competitive and the best part is that their price is all inclusive no nasty hidden extras. I have never had any troubles with any cars I have booked through them.

Thanks Stormbird. I was using Honk as the broker. They seem to have a good reputation on other forums but East Coast was consistently bad. There were only one or two that were positive and I suspect these were written by the company!

I will have a look at driveaway.
