I will be driving down from Brisbane to SYD in Novemebr with my partner and was wondering if someone could suggest two stops on route. I am already stopping in Byron and my thought were Coffs Harbour and Port Stephens. If i do stop there can anyone advise if one night in the last two is long enough??
Many thanks

a leisurely drive down the coast...Brissy-Sydney might include overnights at Byron,Smoky Cape Lighthouse B&B,and the Hunter wine area.
Hi john, thanks for your reply. Is just the two stops enough? Byron and hunter valley? I was gonna do hunter valley as a day trip from Sydney later on.

THe smoky cape lighthouse B&B is located near south west rocks about half way between sydney and brissy.
Thus if you stayed there you would have the two stop overs south of Byron.
Port Stephens would be good if you want to stick to the coast.Perhaps you could drive from port stephens up to the vineyards and then via mudgee and the blue mountains back to sydney.
Thanks John for all your suggestions!
