Bruny Island
Hi everyone
My husband and I are heading to Tasmania in April and want to see Bruny Island. We are interested in doing some walks (Fluted Cape and others - open to suggestions), photography and the food trail. We will also possibly do the ocean tour. How long is a good amount of time on Bruny?
Wondering if anyone can suggest accommodation that is clean and comfortable - B and B style or holiday home, up to around $250 a night. Is it better to stay in the North or South?
Thanks for any suggestions!

We just visited Bruny Island on a day trip from Hobart last week. Our guide recommended 3 days as the best amount of time to fully appreciate the island, including its food and its landscapes. We enjoyed the South better than the North; the landscapes are more beautiful.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this cottage in Adventure Bay http://parnella.com/bruny-island/ It's very close to Fluted Cape. The scenery on the south island is more dramatic IMO. The Neck (isthmus area) is also very scenic. Hotel Bruny had good food.
