Binna Burra AND O'Reilly's ???

We have three nights to fill -- leaving from Brisbane in early May. After some good advice on this forum, the initial plan was to stop the first night near Canungra, and see the Tamborine Mountain area, then spend two nights at O'Reilly's Green Mountain. But because it would only be a one-night stay at the cottage/farmstay I liked, the price goes up so much that for the same money, we could stay at a rustic "Heritage" Casuarina cottage for one night at Binna Burra--including meals.

So ... we're thinking about spending the first night at Binna Burra -- followed by two nights at O'Reilly's. Would the scenery be essentially the same? Does it make sense to split these nights?

The other possibility is to stay the entire time near Canungra and do day trips. OR ... spend the extra money for the single night and see the different area--and pet the animals :-). Thoughts???

Part II:

Then ...
After returning to Brisbane for business we'll have two nights to fill. Since we'll have already been south, we're thinking about heading north to Noosa (as was also recommended). Will there be enough to do there for three days (including the drives)? We're not lie-on-the-beach people. But pretty coastal and scenic walks are preferred.

Thanks for your help. Planning and booking this trip has been a full-time job!!!
