Hey guys,
Has anyone stayed in an OW bungalow at the Sofitel Motu (Bora Bora) or the Sofitel on Morea?
Do you have any idea which would be the best OW bungalow #'s to ask for? Best view?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Just finished my review of the Sofitel Motu. The place is amazing. You will have a fantastic time. Enjoy.

My husband and I are headed to both the Sheraton Moorea and the Sofitel Motu in two short weeks. I was thrilled to read your reviews - they were very helpful. The two additional questions I had were what restaurants do you recommend and which tour operators you used for excursions. Thanks!
Hi Elizabeth. Glad I was of help. I plan on writing reviews of the islands too with the restaurants and tours but I haven't gotten to it yet. On Moorea, Te Honu Iti is definitely the best. We also ate at Le Linerva (good and great atmosphere, but very expensive taxi, find others to go with you and tell the restaurant that you have other couples to split the fare). We also had Allo Pizza deliver thin crust pizza to our room, get the chocolate mousse too.
On Bora Bora, Top Dive is the best and Bloody Mary's is a must. The hotel will not make dinner reservations for you so you will have to call yourself. (no big deal) We also ate at Hotel Bora Bora, expensive and good, but service stunk. I heard that the service at the Motu restaurant was awful and make sure that you don't eat at the Wednesday Lobster Feast. Friends told us they got 10 bites for $60. If you have any other questions, you can e-mail me through epinions. Have a great time.
Sorry, I forgot about the tours. We w-mailed Dr. Poole directly for the dolphin excursion and I went through the hotel for a stingray feeding. I wish that we would have done a land tour or a circle island tour. Next time
On Bora Bora we did Tupuna Safari for the 4x4. They wouldn't let me book directly, I had to go through the hotel and they booked up fast. We also did the jet ski tour with Matira something. I booked it through the hotel.
We usually spent one day on each island doing nothing. The best activity of all!
