Belated Christmas greetings - and best wishes to the Kiwis

I've been thinking of you, Kiwi Rob, Nelsonian & our other Kiwi cousins over the ditch.

Such a shame this is all on again in Christchurch. My heart goes out to you & hope everything is ok with you & yours.

To everyone else in our region, Hope yours was as joyous as ours and very best wishes for 2012, too.

Yes - our thoughts are with the Kiwis again - is there no end to the nightmare.

Let's hope for a Happy New Year for all

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Things have quietened down a bit in Christchurch, with nothing significant on the quake front in the last few days.

We are all looking forward to 2012 with hopes for something a little less demanding than this year has been.

All the best to you for the remainder of the Festive Season and a happy and prosperous New Year.

Rob.

There have been so many quakes in the last few days. I am fortunate that we don't live in Christchurch but 49 earthquakes in one day yesterday must be horrendous. Hope you are hanging in there Kiwi_Rob.

My Christchurch friends are out here visiting their daughter & son-in-law and are fortunately missing out on this lot. But naturally concerned for their friends.

After all this, I think they're trying to take the view that their home is a house & chatels and if it's still there when they get home - good. And if not, they could do no more if they were there.

Can't imagine how nerve wracking it must be to be on the spot and really feel for those who are.
