I would like to travel to Australia and go to ayers rock, cairns, adelaide, and sydney,
and travel to Thailand, and maybe Burma? Best times to visit both Countries?

I like to travel at a slow-moderate pace, have free time to relax, like to try new foods, visit museums, wildlife, and seek adventure!

Austraila (Travel on own or tour?)
-Cains (Great Barrier Reef)
-Ayers Rock (Alice Springs)
Kangaroo habitat tour
Koala habitat tour
other tours?
Optionals:
Melbourne
Tasmania
Kangaroo Islands
Darwin
Accommodations: 4 star hotels, or combination of 3 and 4 star hotels?

Austrailia Budget
Budget $1,500 (US Dollars) including food and tours, and not including RT air!
Flying from California! Austrailia-Thailand $650(One Way) on Quantas, probably less expensive for RT?

Thailand Budget?

Besides Jetstar (affiliate of Quantas, any other economy flight carriers from Austrailia to Thailand? (Cheap?)

Thailand
(Oat Travel tour) Affordable for this area, or expensive?
Thailand tour, 13 nights $1,695 (Oat Travel, "Discover Thailand") Cheap for Thailand?

Burma Pre-Trip(Oat travel) 7 nights $1,995 "Burma & the Irrawady River"!

Any suggestions?
