Hi,
Wanting to plan a trip, with our 2 Month old baby and our toddler, aged 2 1/2. We normally travel to Port Douglas and Noosa, however as the weather wont be suitable in Cairns, and as we have visited Noosa numerous times, we will like something different. Can anyone please offer any ideas, on a beach holiday for our Family in Feb 2010? Thanking you in advance.

Trip Ideas
What's your starting point? How long do you want to be away?
Do you want to fly or drive? Budget? Do you like resorts or something smaller & quieter?
If you're in Sydney, you might like Nambucca Heads, where there's a leisure park with very good basic cabins on a beautiful inlet. Fantastic for kids and a tavern serving excellent bistro food. Pretty town, with lots of walks along the foreshores. Interesting drives around the district; markets etc at Belingen. www.whitealbatross.com.au
Or head south to Vincentia or Huskisson.
Neither of these areas is as busy or trendy as Noosa but if you're looking for somewhere with a bit of space and good for the kids, they may be worth considering.
