Another itinerary question

Hi
I would like to know in which order i can cover those places and if 21 days are enough, we will go in the beginning of May , we will not do beaches ( well , may be sroll along but not swimming )
Sydney , Reef, Brisbane , Uluru, Adelaide ( Kangouro island and wines valleys ) Melbourne , we can fly back home from Melbourne or return to Sydney depend on airfare .
Thanks very much for any feedback .

What is attracting you to Brisbane?

Will you rent a car in Cairns/Port Douglas & Kangaroo Island/ Adelaide?

Australia's a big place - fly between major points. Rent a car to get around when you get to Cairns & Adelaide. Uluru - you can use shuttle, tours or rent a car.book car well in advance.

Routing depends on your time available & schedule.

Loosely - look up Webjet to see carriers & available flights

Fly - Sydney to Brisbane
Fly - Brisbane to Cairns
Fly - Cairns to Uluru
Fly - Uluru - Adelaide
Drive - Adelaide - KANGAROO Island. Check rental car conditions re ferry.
Fly - Adelaide - Melbourne or Sydney

You could also drive Adelaide to Melbourne, via the Great Ocean Road, but you would need to allow 3-4 days minimum to do it justice.

Why do you leave out the West? Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide & Melbourne are repeats of each other when it comes to fauna. Try the Quokkas on Rotnest Island for something different + you can take in Perth and the SouthWest.
