4 weeks in Australia

Jump to last reply

Hi! I would love to get assistance in planning our holiday! My daughter ( 12 years old) and I are going to Australia in July ( 4 weeks). Since it will be Winter I would like to spend most of the time in the nothern part of the country. This is an idea which can be modified with your suggestions:
- Sydney : we'll be arriving in Sydney from Buenos Aires. I think that we could stay there a couple of days when we arrive and 4 days before we leave. What do you think?
- Brisbane or Gold Coast or other town?: how long? "theme parks" ? my daughter has been several times in Orlando..is it worth it? temperature in July?
- Cairns or Port Douglas or other town?? : how long?
- Darwin: is it worth it? how long?
- Melbourne: how long?
- Sydney: 4 days? before taking the plane back home.
Renting a car in some of the cities?
Best places for shopping? I guess that July is a sale month for Winter clothes...
Thank you in advance!
