4-hour layover in Melbourne (From LAX to New Zealand)

Jump to last reply

I will be arriving in Melbourne at 8am on a Monday with my 3-year old kid. Will there be enough time to go outside the airport to meet with a friend to have coffee or something? or is it too tight since it is an international trip?

If it is too tight to go out of the airport, are there enough restaurants/shops to keep my 3-year old busy while waiting for our connection flight?

Thanks!
