Hi Sammy there are some lovely walks in Sydney that you could do. If you are going to Bondi try and walk to Bronte or thereabouts it is a really lovely easy walk. You can stop off along the way and swim if it is warm enough.
Taking the ferry to Manly is always good value also Sydney Taronga zoo has the best view in Sydney and is a 'good' zoo, ie the animals have some of the best conditions.
A day trip to the Blue Mountains makes for a pleasant change of pace. Have you read Sassy_cat's trip report? There are some lovely pictures and great ideas.
Hope this helps,
Schnauzer
Make sure you visit Phillip Island down in Melbourne to visit the penguins coming out of the ocean at sunset. Truly a magical scene to witness!
I second the idea of a day trip to the Blue Mountains. It will give you another oportunity to see a different side of NSW. Very pretty up there and the sky is clear and clean.
Make sure you walk around the rocks, darling harbour, up centre point tower, across the harbour bridge - even the section you dont have to pay.
Check out the Bondi to Coogee and Spit to Manly walks. I've found both to be very enjoyable.
