which booking service for Vietnam??
Anyone know about the reliability/honesty of HaiVenu Tours, Vietnam Stay, Travel to Vietnam and Active Travel? Best ways to protect travel investment when arranging online? Thanks.

If you do a search on this website for vietnamstay.com you will find comments from me and several other travelers. I used them a few weeks ago and found them to be extremely reliable. They also got me the best hotel rates of anyone I checked.

Don't know any thing about those you mentioned but in 2004 I used Exotissimo Travel Vietnam. They arranged flights, drivers and everything else(except international fights) for a 10 day visit and everything worked beautifully.Their rep made good suggestions which I took and I'm very glad I did. We also met several families along the way on our trip,whose arrangements were made by Exotissimo and they were all very happy with both the service and the price. The good thing about companies like vietnamstay and Exotissimo is that they seem to have a pretty good range of options in each location, to accommodate different travel styles and budgets.
