Where to Stay - Hong Kong or Kowloon?

Jump to last reply

I realise this is a topic that crops up often and I apologise in advance for repeating a topic BUT we're planning our first trip to Hong Kong as a 5 day stopover on our return from Europe mid next year and I would like some up to date opinions on where it's best to stay - on Hong Kong Island or in Kowloon? We're looking at around a $200-250 p/n budget or of course cheaper if that's possible.

If you've been there recently or are a frequent visitor to Hong Kong then I'd really like to hear your opinion and some recommendations on which Hotel in which area you prefer.

Thanks in advance for helping out.

Rod
