I'm a fairly well traveled woman, especially in Asia and SEAsia but Nepal is one place I am so unsure of what clothing to bring. I'm going in Nov. into early Dec. but will be in 2-3 climate zones: Kathmandu Valley, Pohkara, Chitwan Nat. Park (Terai) area. I will not be mountain trekking, but still need to know what/what not is needed.
WHAT TO WEAR????

i am going to nepal also, for november. we expect to be in Pokara mainly and some minor trekking. many friends have gone and my take on the clothing is t shirts for hiking with but lots of very very warm clothing for the lodges at night. long underwear a must along with a hat/toque. longish skirts are recommended out of respect for the culture, except i guess, in large centres like Kathmandu. the skirts help with modesty while relieving oneself along the trail as there is very little comver i understand. fleece jackets/vests would provide light weight warmth over wool. have a great time!
