Well located simple Singapore Hotel under US 150

Jump to last reply

OK, starting to finally put some detail around our first 2-month (Jan/Feb) trip to SEA. Thought I'd tackle easy parts first. As we fly into Singapore on Dec. 31 and plan to spend about 4 nights more or less there, am looking for hotel recs.

Not knowing the city, I'm not partial to any particular area, but would like something reasonably well located (near Metro). Though we are big walkers, so if we're a 15 min walk or more from good stuff, we're not unhappy. We don't need a lot of services (in fact would prefer just the basics). If there were charming B&Bs in Singapore, we'd go for that, but haven't seen any mention of em. Should be clean with comfortable beds. Don't need a gym or a pool or spa services or a restaurant, etc etec. .. .

Any ideas?
