i am traveling to asia from march 1st through the 17th.
i plan to cover singapore, malaysia and thailand, in that order before heading back to california

I am going to bring to the top a thread that I posted regarding getting better answers to your travel questions. Take a look at that and then post back with a bit more specifics so we can assist you.
You are going to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time so you should research via guide books and websites to narrow down your locations.
