Yes there is a train fr Singapore to Bgk operated by "Keretapi Tanah Melayu" or the Malayan Railway. The journey will take 24 hrs. If you fly it'll take 1.5h and cost US$150 rt. There's also a luxury train called the "Eastern & Oriental Express" which is like the Orient Express. That takes 2 days and is a destination in itself. DO a search and you'll find lots of info.
Wayne,
What airline offers us$150.00 rt between Singapore & Bangkok? Just
curious!
