Top ten historical monuments in India - what is yours?
Recently I've come upon a nice list of historical structures in India. What I liked the most is that Victoria Terminus is on the first position, while most people would choose Taj Mahal. What do you think of the list? What would be yours?

tanmaysharma1980, great list. I think there should be a separate list for caves in India though. I've never been to Ellora and Ajanta, but I was rather impressed by the Elephanta caves in Mumbai and Karla caves close to Lonavala.

The Mehengar Fort in Jodhpur is the best of all the forts in Rajasthan. It soars into the clouds.
Kumbhelgarh Fort in the Aravelli Hills is superb.
And don't forget the exquisite Jain temple at Ranakpur.
