Tokyo and Kyoto volunteer travel guides

My Japanese student has told me that there are numerous volunteers who are interested in showing tourists around Japanese cities. She gave me this website

For example, in Tokyo some of the groups are the Tokyo SGG club, the Edo-Tokyo-Guide-Group, the Tokyo Free Walking Tour. Has anyone used any of these volunteer groups on Tokyo or Kyoto? Are there any you could recommend? We'll be going to Japan in early April.
