A friend of mine is planning his getaway to Tibet while I'm planning my trip to Europe. He asked around and found this travel agency which offers USD 1850 (if in promo) for 11 days- anyone been to Tibet/Nepal??? Is this worth it or just very expensive?

What do you guys think? Is this expensive?? BTW, we are from the Philippines, so flights are less expensive coz there are a lot of cheap alternatives (airasia/cebu pacific etc)
Tibet for USD 1990 expensive or just OK???

seems expensive to me from Manila but anything to do with everest is very expensive
It's not cheap, but seems reasonable. But staying overnight at the Chinese 'basecamp' is not expensive. They are big communal tents for about 50RMB per person. That is about US$8.

Hi there,
You can get that tour offer in US$ 1680 for 11 days including the Mt.Everest Base Camp(Via Rongbuk) and Lhasa from Nepal.
Now you can decide what is the best and reasonable way to travel to Tibet from Nepal.
Cheers
