We will have only three nights , two days,in Beijing at the beginning of July.
Looking for a comfortable place, middle range, to stay near the Forbidden City, in a Hutong by choice. Given the weather at that time and jet lag from Europe, we will not be rushing around. Any suggestions on what should not be missed. Obviously the Forbidden city. Eating Peking duck? No time for the Wall
Thanks
Three nights in Beijing

Last September we greatly enjoyed the Sihe Courtyard Hotel. Meets your criteria but may be a bit further from the FC than you wish. Otherwise an excellent choice.
