Two events taking place in Seattle: ACT Theatre has a play of the Ramayana right now. We saw it today and thought it was excellent. The Seattle Asian Art Museum has a show of paintings of the Ramayana Story running until January.
We are headed to Java in November, so these are well-timed for us. We'll be seeing the Ramayana Ballet at Prambanan. I've seen it before there and loved it. We feel like we are well-primed for our upcoming trip.
