Just returned from Japan and Singapore on
Saturday, 4/28. Want to thank all of you for
the info that made our trip a lot of fun!!
My Husban, Daughter and Granddaughter arrived
in Singapore after spending 4 days in Tensui
Japan, where my Granddaughter teaches. She is JET member. Singapore was just as much fun this 3rd time. We ate, shopped, went to
all the Touristy things. Sun Tec City, is huge, used the Net Cafe there. Raffles, Doc
Chengs was really tastie, Morton's had huge
portions. The Hawkers at Newtons, just as
lively as 4 years ago. Plenty of selective
construction going on. Loved our Hotel,
the Marina Mandarin. The jazz club at the
Boat Quay was really good, as was the food
there. Went to the Crazy Elephant at Clark
Quay, listened to some great music to 2 in the a.m. The Peach Blossom Chinese Restaurant at our Hotel was just wonderful.
As my Husband and I live on Maui, the flight
home was really long!!!!!!! Just today, I now
know what day it is and what time it is.
