Thailand Airport Transfer questions (Bangkok/Krabi)
Hello-
For those who have experience with these hotels, curious if you think it's easier to use airport transfers (likely at inflated costs) or just use taxis from the airport to/from hotel:
- Bangkok: Old Bangkok Inn (quoted 950 bht)
- Krabi: Centara Krabi Bay Resort (quoted 4,500 bht)
Thanks.

the question really centers on how much luggage you have.....for bkk, most all taxis are toyota corollas with very small trunks....so a limo (large sedan) is really best....it would be about 950 B
i think 4500 is way tooooo high for krabi...will you be flying to phuket? i would just get a taxi at the airport....but have directions written in thai from the hotel....

The Old Bangkok Inn's price is reasonable. It's what you would pay for a car service. It's of course, much more than a taxi, but we always have lots of (empty) luggage for shopping.
Are you flying into Krabi or into Phuket? Either way, that's a lot of money for a transfer.
