Hi all,
We go on holiday this weekend for 2 weeks in Malaysia. We will have a few days on Lang Tengah before going to Perhentian Kecil for a week at Petani Beach House. As the cost of a private boat charter to the Perhentians from Lang Tengah is ridiculousy expensive, we will probably head back to the mainland and get a taxi from Tanjung Merang to Kuala Besut and get the ferry to the Perhentians from there.
Has anybody done this before? If so how much should the taxi fare cost? Has anyone had any luck with negotiating a cheaper charter from Lang Tengah to the Perhentians?
Any help as always appreciated.

Have you tried to ask for prices at http://www.infotaxi.org/country-179.htm. When I plan a trip that involves cabs, first I check Info Taxi's comments about the taxi services in the area and ask there for prices.
