Tailor recommendation in Hoi An Viet Nam

Hello,
We will be in Hoi An (for 3 days) and plan to have a few things made. I have read different reviews that caution one on some of the tailors. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

WE used Zally in Hoi An and were very pleased. Look them up on Trip advisor. A suggestion is that you have an idea of what you want made and have some ideas about fabric and cost. The store is crowded, has so much fabric. I ordered one day , came back for a fitting, went back in the evening, and one seamstress actually came to my hotel for a final fitting. I had a simple suit made and it is lovely. If you have something you love take it with you and they can copy it. There are many tailors this is one suggested to us.Hoi An is a wonderful city with wonderful French restaurants.

Thanks for replying- is the spelling of the tailor "Yaly or is " Zally" a different tailor?
I plan to bring pictures of what I want but how to decide what type of wool or polyester blend ?
Thanks again

If you are looking for wool, Hoi An is not the place. It is in the tropics, so will have silks and cottons. You certainly don't want polyester.

Kathie they do have wool. Karen had a fab short winter jacket made there, so there is some.

FYI... Prices have risen substantially in the last couple of years

Bob, you are quite right that they will have some, but not the selection you might want. Some people bring their own fabric.

My apologies the store is Yaly. I had a simple linen jacket and pants made they fit fine but they had to make some alterations before it was perfect, as an tailor does . I wish I had had more time.
