I can get the famed Cinnamon Suite at the Sun Hotel, or a Loft Suite at the Galle Fort for about the same price; Sun Hotel is actually a bit less and includes breakfast. Concerned that Sun Hotel is a bit outside of town and tripadvisor indicates it may be a bit tired. Hear good things about the Galle Fort. Any advise appreciated on which to choose.
Sun Hotel or Galle Fort Hotel for trip to Sri Lanka?

I would go for the Galle Fort as the Sun is just too far away from the old town restaurants sights etc. and is only really vaible by taxi. We stayed in a private villa close to the Galle Fort for a few days last year and loved being close to everything. We ate at the Galle Fort once during our stay and although expensive by SL standards, the food was excellent and the public areas were very nice.
