I will be going to Tokyo from Nov 24 to 26th, and was very interested in seeing a sumo wrestling practice. I've been looking all over the internet for the best way to do it.
Do I just show up in Ryogoku in the morning and wander around until a stable feels sorry for me and takes me in, or is there a more organized method for attending a practice?
Thanks in advance.

Bonjour cclemens,
You unfortunately won't find anyone in Ryogoku at this time of year, since that will be the end of the tournament held in Kyushu (Nov 11-25).
In order to see a practice, you have to call a stable in advance, except for a very few places where you can show up, but very early in the morning. www.sumotalk.com and www.sumonow.net have links to stables websites.
