I just got back from a trip to Siem Reap, and wanted to share about it. I went there for two days, which was a good amount of time to see a lot of the more famous temples and a few of the off-the-beaten-path ones. I also had time to explore the town, which had great markets, shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
I wrote about the trip on my blog if you want to see photos and videos. It's worth taking a look just to see the photos of the sunrise at Angkor Wat, which turned the sky an amazing pink color! http://www.aladyinlondon.com/2012/02/siem-reap-cambodia-travel.html
I had an amazing time overall, and highly recommend the destination to anyone traveling in Southeast Asia!
Stunning Siem Reap!

Enjoyed your blog post. Loved the the pink sunrise--when I was in SR the sunrise at Angkor Wat was just a lovely blue. Mother Nature is always full of surprises.
Thankyou, we leave in 3 weeks.
Lovely photos! The skies were overcast on our 5 a.m visit or I am sure I would have been raving about the sunrise also! I LOVE the photo of the bikes and tuk tuk along the road.
Thanks for posting
Thanks all! I'm really glad you enjoyed the post. That's great that the sunrise at Angkor Wat looks different every morning, too.
