Spending a Week in Bangalore-Any Ideas?

Jump to last reply

My sister and I are going to Bangalore (South India) for my cousin's wedding at the beginning of July. I understand that means super humid + monsoons... Perfect vacation weather.. Are there any activities or sight seeing that you would recommend? I wanted to see the beaches, but I don't think we'll have time as we only have 4 free days before the wedding and we will be jet lagged. Are there any trips we could make in a day? Or where the travel is comfortable enough for us to sleep if we are still jet-lagging? And would still be worth it in the rain? Otherwise we would be fine with staying in the Bangalore area: we both love food, hiking, and extreme sports, but we also want to get the full cultural experience while we are there. So... I feel like we have lots of options, but we aren't sure what would work best.

Any recommendations would be great!

Thanks!
